Need help with LiveCycle Scripting...

I am trying to do something that I am not sure is possible with a PDF file.

I want to create a button in the PDF file that will launch a new Internet Browser window and do a form post to a specific URL I would define, then, keep the internet browser window open displaying the url that the form post shows as results.

To elaborate, I have a form processing page in my site that will process a form post and display results based on what is posted to the page. I want to use the PDF to post one field of information from the form into that page and display the results.

I think this can be done with javascript, just don't know how to do it.

Hi,

I believe you are in the wrong. This a forum for Adobe LiveCycle Collaboration Service, a platform for develop realtime collaborative applications.

You may want to visit forums under Adobe LiveCycle ES and ES2, i.e. http://forums.adobe.com/community/livecycle/livecycle_es?view=overview and look for LiveCycle PDF Generator or other similar forums.

Hope this helps

Thanks
