LiveCycle broken by UserManagerService

We have a problem with a service using the activity "Find Group" in Livecycle ES.

In DEV, everything was ok, but when we switch to production, we have this exception :

I have tried a new service that only do one lookup. In DEV, envything is ok, but after deployement in PROD we have the exception (bellow). The two environnment have the same Domains configuration. We migrate the service by using the "create archive"/"import archive" from Livecycle Workbench/Livecycle Admin.

When we go the administrative console " Services/Applications & Services/Service Management / Config DirectoryManagerService" we also have the message : There is no active service configuration for service: DirectoryManagerService.

Our installation is inusable, we cannot use the DirectoryManagerService anymore and it seem there is no mean to "reset" the service. Our process rely on this component.

I think the DirectoryManagerService from UserManagerService is broken. I wonder if there is a solution other than delete all the data and reinstall LiveCycle ES ?

I would consider two possibilities:

1) It is unlikely that your DEV and PROD directories have the same provider URL. If they do you may have more trouble than you know. All user lookup services use a provider URL, either configured directly in each service instance or configured in the base service. Validate the provider URLs.

2) Your PROD directory service may not enable access from external sources, by default. Check with your security admin. They may have to configure and enable a named user who can access the directory. The user credentials could then be used to run the LiveCycle ES service.

How can we have two different provider URL in the DEV and PROD environment ? The two LiveCycle ES server have the LDAP connexion configured the same way.

It is the same LDAP server, same credentials, ...

Maybe I don't understand well what is the provider URL ? Can I have the provider URL different if the LDAP are configured the same way ?

By the way, the user are all defined in LDAP but the Group are created in the "Default Domain". Can it be a problem ?
