Is the process id always unique?

Will a process id for any long lived process within the same application ever be reused? I always assumed that the process id was unique but I can't find anywhere stating so.

Yes, the Process Id is always unique.

To verify that, just see the table design tb_process_instace.

The id column is the primary key which holds the Process Id
