How to hide a portion without any blank area in adobe Live cycle designer?

I'm working on a form where a particular area needs to be hidden dynamically on clicking a checkbox .  I have set that portion with in a text field and hiding the same on selecting checkbox. But a blank area comes on doing so. I want to collapse that blank area dynamically.

Hi there,

if your subform containing that area is set to flowed subform, all you need to do is set the presence to hidden instead of invisible.

If the properties are set properly and parents are flowed subforms, the blank area should collapse and be replaced by contents under that section.

Hope this help.

Can you provide your form so I can see if I can find if anything's wrong?
