Edit Form Fields

I created a form then saved it with a different name to test the forms distribution process. Now I want to edit my original form to move around some text boxes, edit some text etc and I cannot now select the text I want to edit or resize some text fields. It is as if some fields are locked which I specifically did not do as there is a lot of work left to be done to design the form. What could be causing this behaviour? Thanks for any suggestions.

I solved this by unlocking the static objects.
