Hey,

Can any one give me some suggestions on how to create a link for downloading a file in PDF. The URLs  to the  downloadable file will be getting from an XML. I want to display the Link on PDF such a way that if the user clicks it, it has to be downloaded.

Let me explain the scenario.

Based on the customer selected by the associate i will get an XML file with order and product catalog details . It will be merged with PDF form in LCES and stored in a remote location. The associate will get the status on a PDF Dynamic form from where he initiate the process and there should be a link  next to the status field for downloading the file for that customer.

Please suggest on this.

Thanks

Ravi

You may use floating fiels concept in getting the data converted to dynamic text and then if you use any url with prefix with "http://" that gets automatically converts as hyper link.

hope that helps....

Good luck,
