I would like to cancel print action.
I wrotexfa.event.cancelAction = 1; in prePrint event of my form, but I can still invoke print dialog.
I read http://livedocs.adobe.com/livecycle/8.2/acrobat_designer/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/wwhelp.htm?conte... and they say it is possible.
So my question is how?

If i remember correctly there was a bug in 8 that stopped it fro working properly. I believe it was fixed in version 9. I do not have access to all of those versions at this time to test for you.

Hmm...just some simple thoughts...
Isn't there a possibility to hide the form for the printer as long as the validation doesn't work?
Wouldn't that do the job too... right?

Yes but I think that you will get blank pages in the objects place.
