Hello,
I created a new Object Library besides the Standard, Custom, and Barcodes in LiveCycle Designer ES and tried to add new item to it but could not even thought I have enabled to "Allow objects to be added", Allow objected to be removed", "Allow objects to be modified" . Does any one know what is the issue? Please advise/share on how to fix it.
Thanks in advance,
Han Dao

Hi Dao,
Yes, this is Custom Object Management. Custom objects are maintained in two XMLs [1. LocalLibrary.xml, 2. ObjLibLayout.xml] and you can find the actual XMLs in path (<Drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2\EN\Objects).
1. LocalLibrary.xml - has the configuration of Objects Folder in Object Library and this is the file where you can set the permissions to the Custom Folder.
2. ObjLibLayout.xml - has the configuration of Objects in side a Object folder.
LocalLibrary.xml is the file where you set the permissions, removing "a"- removes the object adding capability, "d" - removes the object deletion capability, "m" - removes the modify capability, and i hope this answers to your question. For more detailed information see below
now find the screen shot of LocalLibrary.xml
One can create their own folder structure and maintain the custom object libraries and you can import them to your designer through "Shared Library Location". Please let me know whether it works or not.
thanks,
Rajesh
