Hello, I'm a newbie here and I have searched all over for answers to this, but I'm not an Adobe Wizard and sometimes I just don't understand the answers.

I have:

Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2 version 9.0.0.2.20100902.2.720808

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.023.20070

I have inherited this project, never having used LiveCycle Designer before.  I'm learning this by reading a lot and trying different things.  Anyway, a form needs to be updated so I open it and get this pop-up:

Not truly understanding the ramifications, I picked "Yes" and updated the form, saving it as the next rev higher.

Now when anyone opens the PDF file, it tells them they cannot save data typed into the form.

I looked around and found you could do a Save as Other > Extended Reader stuff, but when I pick Save as Other, it only gives me:

Text...

Word or Excel Online

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mark

Ok, I finally got it.  I opened the PDF in Adobe Acrobat XI Standard and was able to use File > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF
