AFCS Dev Console - Can't Enter Room

Avatar

Level 1
When using the Dev Console I Login to my account, and my
Rooms show up in the Rooms list, I try to either double click on
the room name or select the room and click on the Enter Room
button...but nothing happens. My cursor changes to the clock thing
for about a second and then changes back to the pointer. The Room
URL box is being populated with the correct URL.

Anyone had this happen before? Did I do something wrong?

I'm still new new to Flash/Flex, so sorry if this is a noob
question.

Thanks,

Hi,

The roomUrl should be something like
http://connectnow.acrobat.com/accountName/roomName

I can see the chattst being twice in the Url.

Go to Accounts then click Edit and see if the AccountUrl is
http://connectnow.acrobat.com/jdubco

and enter login and password and click login. The roomName i
presume in this case will be chattst and the url should be
http://connectnow.acrobat.com/jdubco/chattst
. Are you following this convention I mentioned ?

And yes, if you select Automatically Enter Room , it will
show only that room and will enter automatically but it seems in
your AccountUrl , you are not entering
http://connectnow.acrobat.com/jdubco.
Please verify and let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

what you seems to do is correct i think still i would say,
check on Automatically Enter Room in Room Details and close and
open the dev console again, and see what happens. I just tried now
to log in and I could log into my room.

If you still cant log, provide us with the roomUrl you are
using and we will try to debug on our side.

Thanks

I tried checking the Auto Enter Room check box, and when I
started the console again it just showed that room, not the other
one in the list, but the url box was empty, and it didn't do
anything else. Here is the room url.

Thanks for your help in resolving this issue.

I did have the room name in the AccountUrl. I removed it and
now everything appears to be working correctly.

Thanks again!!
