addinstance() method

Hi Experts,

We all know that addInstance() method accepts Boolean value as true or false.

Can anyone explain with scenarios when we should use true (1) i.e. addInstance(1) & when we should use false addInstance(0). It seems we always use addInstance(1) for adding subform instances using instance Manager.

The boolean value indicates whether to remerge the data in the data dom or not.
