What are advantages of placing xdp inside repository over just placing xdp on the server ( othe than checkin/out and repository API)?
Any database consideration for check in/out operation? (e.g. multiple changes with each check in/out could grow db size?
Thanks

If it is in the repository all of the assets are in the same application and creating an LCA file gives you everything.
Editing the form from the workbench is available when the asset is in the repository. You woudl have to load designer on its own when using a disk reference.

Thanks Paul,
what about fragments, common scripts, reference etc. that would be plus as well in repository?
What about testing forms be easier in repository?
Thanks

Depending on how you are using the forms, certain products rely on the fragments and external references being in the repository.
Testing forms woudl be the same either way (I assume you are referring to teh Preview in the Designer).
