(2) Check boxes, one or the other...

I tried to search and could not find the right terms or threads relating.

I have a simple form that has (2) Check boxes.  For example, YES or NO.  I need to be able to have the user only check one.  Right now, the user can check both.  I think I have to write a code or something, but have no idea.  Can someone help me?

Have you tried Radio Buttons instead?  The difference is that they perform exactly as you are asking.  By default, they initially display as a circle, but you can change it to a square if you need to.  Here is a link to teh v9 help docuemtn on radio Buttons: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/designerHelp/index.htm?content=000351.html

Hi there,

when you insert check boxes the client can choose multiple selections,

but when you insert a radio button instead you force the client to make one decision.

all the best!
