Hi guys:

Is it possible for the submit by email button to submit the aforementioned email without having one's email application window pop up? Just for it to do a send in the background?

use a submit to an asp page that send it as an mail to the receiver.

I have the exact opposite problem. I created a form using the LiveCycle Design wizard and it automatically inserted a "Submit by Email" button. I thought, "terrific!". But when I distributed the form to a few people for testing, they were all confused by the fact that when they clicked the "Submit by Email" button it popped up a little message saying that the message had been sent to their e-mail client, but their e-mail client never popped up. Instead, if they went to their "Sent Items" folder they could see that the client had sent the message automatically.

How does one make it so that it *does* pop open an e-mail message in their e-mail client?
