Hi,

The issue is that your form has not been Reader Enabled. Therefore users with Reader cannot save data that they input into the form.

There is a summary here of the options that are available to a user depending on what the user has (Acrobat/Reader), whether the form is Reader Enabled, and how it was enabled.

There are two ways to Reader Enable a form:

  • Using Acrobat Standard v9 or above, or Acrobat Professional V8. There are licensing restrictions - see EULA.
  • Using LC Reader Extensions ES2. This is a server product intended for larger data processes. There are additional costs - contact your local Adobe sales rep.

Hope that helps,

Niall
