Missing jars necessary for installation?

Hello,

I'm testing at the moment the manual installation of Form Manager 7.0.1 together with Forms on a Windows 2003 server (JBoss and MS SQL Server 2000).

In installation guide (page 64 in the German version, page 59 in the English version) two .jar files (xercesImpl-2.6.2.jar and xalan-2.6.0.jar) are mentioned which should be copied from LiveCycle root\components\registry\jboss\endorsed into the newly created endorsed directory under JBOSS_HOME\server\all\lib.

However, I cannot locate these files (not even the directory \jboss\endorsed) after the installation of Form Manager.

Are these files really necessary? If yes, for what purpose?

Until now my installation is running fine, I can upload files, create categories, etc., without the files, but I want to make sure that I don't run into problems when I do the installation on the customer site.

They are no longer necessary. You can see this in the Reader document under the section "Some JAR Files Not Required".
