I am running adobe WFS 6.2 on Windows 2003 server with AD. It is setup where users use windows authentication to log into webaccess. When the users log into webaccess, they get an access denied. The only work around I found was to make all domain user an Admin on the server. Does anyone knows why I have to do this? I wish not to make domain user as administrators on the servers.

The reasoning behind this could be vast - however a good place I guess we can start at is what permissions to the domain users group have on the workflow server directory, in particular WebAccess/Web? Assuming the applicaton resides on a NTFS formatted partition...

Anything in the either of the Windows Evt logs that may point to a probably cause - also what about the IIS Logs.

Tony,

I got the same problem on a 2003 SP1 Server...

If you check the AWS 6.2 documentation, you see that the suported operating systems are Win 2000 SP3 or 2003 (native)...

The 2003 SP1 has introduced a series of new security updates which conflict with AWS 6.2 credential validations. The only solution I got was to remove SP1 from the Win 2003.

I know it's a security matter, but it worked.

Check if SP1 is applyed to your OS.

Regards.
