I want automatizate reader extensions

Hi I want to automatizate the action of set the rigths in pdf documents.



How can I do?



I have viewed that I can use the java api, but I need use asp.net (vb) or bat file.



I older versions of RE I used a bat file for the automatizations, actualy is it possible?

Hi,

I'm a newbie by ARES, but I can siggest you what I'm making.

The best way is to write a session bean that make the work (use provided samples to help). Then you can map that across webservice or little cmdline java app (via RMI) that you call from your bat file.

To add to pilet's comment, there's an existing web service example on the livecycle dev center at http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/livecycle/LCREWeb3.zip . This exposes Reader Extensions as a web service, and then you can call Reader Extensions from your asp.net application.

We have purchased a full copy of Reader Extensions 7.2 for Windows. I want to automatizate that Reader Extensions. Please help me, i which way i will try to automatizate that Reader Extension. (or) Is it possible to run through watch folder concept. Please advice me
