Formatting Tables - there must be an easier way...

I've made an order form complete with unit prices, calculations and totals - it all looks really professional, very happy with this as my first attempt...



But...



the formatting of the main table of 5 different size columns appears to be uneven and the borders have different thicknesses. Is there a simple way of formatting the table so that all the boxes are aligned, and the borders are regular.
