Error with number fields

Hello,

I have adobe profession 7.0 and have a problem with numeric fields.

When I create a numeric field, numbers are displayed in adobe reader 7.0.0 as you type it, e.g. 123456 displays 123456

However, if you use the latest reader, 7.0.8, it reformats numbers and puts commas in the numbers, e.g. 123456 displays 123,456

I've tried using 'display field' and the 'data pattern' (e.g. zzzzzzzzzz) but that reverts to using commas in 7.0.8 if the number you enter is longer than the mask you specify and it allows decimals and rounds things up.

All I want is to allow someone to enter a number, not show commas and for it to work in 7.0.0 and 7.0.8 consistenly.

Thanks.

Neil.
