Cannot remove object from PDF

We have a PDF from another entity that appears to have been originally created in MSWord. On the PDF there is one line that I cannot delete. I even tried to import the PDF into PageMaker and I still can't delete the line. It's static and is not selectable. Any suggestions on how to remove this bothersome pest?

Found the solution. I selected the form and then selected Send to Back. That enabled me to "see" the lines and then delete them.
