Auto fill text fields

Is there a way to populate text fields from an existing field. For example on the first page it asks for a name. Once filled in can you set it up so fields on the follow pages auto fill that same value?

I had a similar question and I found a solution somewhere on the web.



I had a section on the form called Employee Name:



In the Object view (If you click Window menu and select Object)



Click the Binding tab



Where it says name put EmployeeName



and make sure all the sections where you have Employee Name you have it labeled as EmployeeName in the objects menu.



Lastly, in the Objects tab where / Binding



Where it says Default Binding: Make sure it's GLOBAL and that's it!
