Adobe Barcode Decoder cannot read QR Code and DataMatrix

It is happy to see that Adobe adds QR Code and DataMatrix to Barcoded Paper Form in Designer 7.1. But Adobe Barcode Decoder does not catch up, and cannot recognise these 2 newly added symbologies. Is there any roadmap in Adobe to support the decoding of these 2 barcodes?

If you are using the Decoder under Workflow you should already be able to decode all of the symbologies.



Are you using the "Stand Alone" service?

As I mentioned, Barcoded Forms 7.0 (the version that is designed to work in conjunction with LiveCycle Workflow) already supports the additional symbologies. When Adobes next version of the stand alone product is released, it will also support the additional symbologies, including QRCode and DataMatrix. If you are on support and maintenance, this will be a no cost upgrade for you.

Thank you for the information. Apparently, I am using the standalone version. So I have to wait for the next release.
