-1073741819 conversion error

Hi,

I have just had a look at the Livecycle reader extensions as I have a .pdf form that I would like to be able to distribute and have people able to fill it in and save it.

Unfortunately I am getting the -1073741819 conversion error.

This is the file : http://www.gap-online.net/files/l5r3e-charactersheetform.pdf

While I am sure this message means something to the developmers at Adobe, it means absolutely nothing to me

All I want to be able to do is save the details I fill in on this form.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I downloaded your form and was able to successfully add the Basic form fill-in right to your form and it worked fine. I used the Windows/JBoss version of LiveCycle Reader Extensions 7.0 product to reader enable the document.

When did you get the error?

I was simply trying to open the form with Livecycle, going through the wizard, it asked how i wanted to save the form, then asked for email address, then it bombed with that error.

So you have a version of that form that allows saving with Reader ?

Any chance you could let me have a copy ?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the Reader Extension Server that I have is licensed to me on a per document basis, so this would cost me (it lets you test a form which is what I did so I know it works). Were you at the tryout section from the Reader Extension Server (http://www.adobe.com/products/server/readerextensions/tryreg.html)? Or did you actually download and deploy the Reader Extension product? The reason I ask is that I am not aware of any email support in the Reader Extension product.

It was just the tryout version.

I just downloaded it to see if I could see how the automatic calculations were done on the form, and if I could save an amendable version (which the reader extension was supposed to allow).
