Single vs Multiple Data Streams for AEP, AA and Target

Avatar

Level 1

I am in the process of migrating my Adobe Analytics and Target setup to WebSDK. I would like to understand the pros and cons of having a Single vs Multiple Data Streams. Has anyone implemented this, and what was the approach?

Option 1:
Single Data Stream for AEP, AA, and Target

Option 2:
Data Stream 1: AEP
Data Stream 2: AA and Target

Hi @sm0024 ,
It depends on the use of data, if you need to capture the data in AEP generally single data stream is preffered as it becomes easier to manage. However if you have sensitive label applied to your data schema in AEP for which you are capturing the data, that cannot be enabled for AA and Target.

Thanks,
Dhanesh
