2. How to decide when to use Adobe Analytics or Customer Journey Analytics?

3. How to decide when to use Adobe Campaign or Journey Optimizer?

Appreciate all your responses.

Hi @nsvsrk

1.

Profiles: This is the 360-degree view of a single person, it is stitched from different data sources CRM, Web, Offline. One profile ID will have multiple attributes like Gender, First Name, Last purchased product etc.

Audience : Is a set of profile bases on a user defined criteria. (Eg user above 30 - 40 age who didn't purchase anything in last 30 days)

2. Adobe Analytics is a traditional digital behavior tracking tool (mostly web and app), CJA(build on AEP Architecture)  is Cross-channel (Web, App, Call Center, POS) reporting tool that can stich user across data sources give you a full customer journey of a user. eg , He visited the website first and called the call center later and then went to offline store. CJA can stich user by using person ID (eg. CRM ID , Email, phone number).

  • Use AA if your primary goal is optimizing digital performance (Web/App) and you need a mature, specialized tool for web analysis.

  • Use CJA if you need to see the full journey, Eg, connecting a web click to a call center complaint and an in-store purchase

3. AJO is built on top of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) , more focused on real time personalization and journeys , while adobe campaign is more focused on traditional huge batch campaigns. Some organization use both this tool for blending their capabilities.
