Is there a way to see for an audience, what other audiences is it a part of?

Avatar

Level 3

I'm looking for a report that shows me for Audience 1, what other audiences is Audience 1 a part of/in the logic for?

Audience 1 + Attribute A + Event X = Audience 2

Audience 1 + Audience 4 + Attribute 7 = Audience 3

Audience 1 = Audience 2, Audience 3

Audience 4 = Audience 3

= means "is a part of / is in the logic for"

Adobe experience platform AI assistant can help in this regard, check out  https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/ai-assistant/questions#objectives-que...

Below are a couple of questions that can be asked in the Audience area.

what audiences are used in other audiences

What audience is used mostly by other audiences?

HI @kendallhall

the only thing that would come to my mind is a Venn diagram to visualize segment overlaps segments, but this is also limited to max 3 segments.

Hope that helps anyway

Thanks for the suggestion @bjoern__koth. Where can I find the venn diagram?

@kendallhall

It's the last visualization in the list.

venn_1.jpg

Lets you specify up to 3 segments and one metric

venn_2.jpg

In my example, I chose

  • country = Switzerland
  • mobile device type = other (desktop)
  • mobile device type = mobile phone

venn_3.jpg

venn_4.jpg

hover over the intersections to see the values; it's highlighting the participating metrics

venn_5.jpg

worth mentioning that the inner circle overlap that seemingly is the intersection of all three segments, does not work (which would also logically not work to have a desktop computer that is a mobile device at the same time).

Hope that helps

Cheers from Switzerland!

@Anuhya-Ythx for sharing! Unfortunately, this is an AEP feature (yet).

Let's hope it comes to the old school Analytics as well at some point

Cheers from Switzerland!

Thanks for the response @Anuhya-Y

Would the AI Assistant answer:

What audiences are used in other audiences.. and what are those other audiences?

Avatar

Community Advisor

@kendallhall  yes, try this "What audiences are used in other audiences. and list other audiences"

@Anuhya-YI played around a bit with the AI Assistant.

While it has as lot of potential, it currently still feels a little beta and many questions like "what is the total number of profiles" could not be answered.

I am certain that this will become a fantastic companion in the future, also because it is telling you the steps to get there.

Just right now, I don't think it is there yet.
