Custom personalization connection

Hi all, 

i'm going through the documentation to create a custom connection for aep segments (our destination is a DSP tool). 

I'd like to know if there are more details on this part (this is an attribute to pass while configuring the connection): 

• Integration alias: This value is sent to the Experience Platform Web SDK as a JSON object name.

How can we provide this information? is this data that allow us to send the segment to external services? 

I don't know if someone would like to share an experience

• Microsoft Bing connection
• Pinterest Customer List connection

• The Trade Desk connection
• (Beta) The Trade Desk CRM connection
• Yahoo/Verizon DataX

Or are you trying to go through the Destination SDK?

Disclaimer: I haven't set this up yet.

After reading the later sections of the documentation, it looks like the "Integration alias" is for you to put an arbitrary value to help you to identify the system you are integrating with. For example, if your personalization system is Optimizely, you might want to put "optimizely" as the alias. Then when the segments are delivered to the web page in the Web SDK response, you can identify the ones intended for your personalization destination using this alias.
