maybe you've run into a release window.
Have you tried again?
typically, if something like this happens, I would always first check https://status.adobe.com to check whether some systems may be affected by some kind of issues.
Thanks for the suggestion @bjoern__koth , will keep that in mind in the future.
Unfortunately as of today the issue is still persisting on both Production and Staging sandboxes, and status.adobe.com is showing all related services as green.
