@1_C7 We also have an out-of-the-box integration / destination - (API) Salesforce Marketing Cloud connection

Can you provide more context?  What uses cases are you trying to solve for here?

 

As far as APIs go though, https://developer.adobe.com/experience-platform-apis/ here is a great place to start for getting more information on working with the Adobe Experience Platform with our various API's.

Is contactKey mandatory to set it as Primary from AEP while creating Schema?

@1_C7 as I replied here:

 

The salesforceContactKey found in the Mapping target field can be one of your identities (ie: Customer ID)

Source field: CustomerId ---> Target field: salesforceContactKey

 

Ideally, this represents a unique identifier in your ecosystem and it is likely to be primary.
