What are the advantages and disadvantages of using AEM for managing Video assets ( with out Dynamic Media) ?

Hi Team

    I am looking for some guidelines or your experience working with Video Assets in AEM. For a client , who don't use Dynamic Media, but still want to use AEM for managing Video assets what are the pros and cons you can list out? What would be the challenges we might face ? What would be the better option if not !?

Other than all the well-known pro/cons of using Saas vs On-prem is that you need to install third-party software for generating video thumbnails[1]

Also, there are few dynamic media only features listed at [2]
