Select more than one article for the activation from siteadmin

How to activate the selected article from a folder in one shot. Is there any way to achieve this. Please suggest.

It states: 

From the Websites tab you can activate the individual pages. When you have entered, or updated, a considerable number of content pages - all of which are resident under the same root page - it can be easier to activate the entire tree in one action. You can also perform a Dry Run to emulate an activation and highlight which pages would be activated.

Option 1: 

Purpose of 'Activation Tree' is for bulk content activation.

Option 2

You can create content packages and deploy these. But remember, with content packages you don't get the replication history and you can't deactivate individual pages.

Option 3

Write Workflows that Activate content:

Hi First 2 options are not suitable for our situation. 

Tree activation they don't want to do activation based on state . they will select randomly to activate.

they need to package for 30 locals which is a pain. can we use the regex to select that page or path is all locals in one shot to create a package.? that will help

workflow option suggested(that they are going to use), but still looking for better solution.

Btw why is activate option disabled in the attached pic? authors don't have permission?,because to randomly activate pages from siteadmin  we would multi select pages and click on activate.

if I selected more than one page for the activation , The button is getting disabled. Its working for only one page. 

I'm looking for that option.
