Re: QueryBuilder - multiple daterange properties Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager

Re: QueryBuilder - multiple daterange properties Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Ankur , What i am looking for is to handle multiple properties more than 30 without mentioning each property one by one.I was trying to see something like i can use regex and entire list might be searched upon. or write a custom predicate to do this. Thanks,Deepikaa

QueryBuilder - multiple daterange properties Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi, Is it possible to give a regex pattern for a daterange.property in aem query builder and search for all properties falling under the regex pattern. Usecase : we are trying to query around 30 date properties set for an asset whether if any particular date among them falls under the given date range. Thanks,Deepikaa

Re: Assets Within the Same Folder Have Different Permissions Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi @serdman , Maintaining permission at asset level might be too micromanagement and i think it will be difficult to maintain them in future as well. What is the challenge you face in having those set of images in separate folder, because it is always better to have permissions at folder level not at asset level.May be you can put assets with more privilege in sub-folder. Thanks,Deepikaa

Re: Custom rollout action Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Also forgot to mention, we pull images from dynamic media. So i think as long as we have image cached in DM, we cannot return 404 selectively.

Re: Custom rollout action Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Peter, Thank you for your valuable inputs.I agree, duplicating is not right option but i m bit confused how to give 404 for a specific locale? We actually deactivate the image on expiry date. Can you shed some light on image servlet that you are referring to? do you mean to say ,like handle it in image component ? Note: This doesn't apply to all images of website, may be 10% of it. Thanks,Deepikaa

Re: Custom rollout action Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Arun for the link. I did go through this earlier, i know we can write custom action. But i wanted to do something more generic like how the page references gets updated, like kind of similar thing for dam livecopy images as well. So wanted to know if that will work if i mimic same actions of page reference update. Like if anyone had given a try on it.

Custom rollout action Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi , is there a possibility to change image references on page roll out? Use case : Same image has different expiry dates for different countries. We are planning to duplicate the image for countries and add respective expiry dates since only one expiry date is possible for a image. The challenge here is , image reference should change automatically on roll out of page from source to live copy like how it does for page links. any alternative ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Re: Automating Page Generation in AEM Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi, It depends on how you want to create,i have put down in simple way here. 1.you first create a template for your article page - as you know the layout .2. Feed you articles data through excel or xml or any structured format.3.you can even have this file uploaded in dam4.write a servlet which can read data from this excel and create pages.5. Pagemanager api helps you to create pages . ( as suggested by @ruchim71073425 ) & update components after page is created.6.you can hit this servlet in br...

Re: assets expiry dates Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager Assets
I think , asset need not be republished because the scheduler that deactivates the expired assets runs from author instance and this scheduler will pick up the updated expiry date in author.

Re: Live Copy Move Issue Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi, We finally figured out why this happens, when a live copy page is renamed , the original live copy page name is added in exclude list .If the above step does not happen, then both the pages are shown here as stated in original post . Since we did all live copy pages renaming programatically , excluded list did not get updated . This eventually did show both the live copy pages on screen ( before n after rename) thanks

Re: Unskip pages in MSM in touch UI, AEM 6.4.3.0 Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
We do not have option to unskip in touch UI. We are also facing same scenario. One way is via classic UI or if we have less number of live-copies we ask them to create live-copy directly under respective countries if they insist to have same name for the page or just create page with new name.

Re: Issues with Queries using sling:resource property Deepikaa_Nagesh - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Tuhin, Sorry for very delayed response. Yes this was given by Adobe. This was the reason given by Adobe Support ,, lets disable sling:Resource property index at oak:index/slingResource as I can see in your query string its searching using jcr:like over the property sling:Resource. Hence, lets disable from oak:index/slingResource and add these property under oak:index/lucene/nt:base like I have mentioned. To disable oak:index/slingResource change the type property value to disable. There is caut...
