Replication from AEM 6.5 to 6.0

Avatar

Hello experts, I've a purpose to replicate/publish digital assets from AEM 6.5 to 6.0. Did someone try it & does it work? If yes, is it supported by Adobe? Any underlying implications?

Thanks.

You don't want to do this.

AEM 6.0 and AEM 6.4 are more dissimilar than they are the same.

- repository structure is different (see AEM 6.4 restructuring documentation)

- different underlying repository (crx2 vs oak-segment-tar)

- AEM 6.0 is also end-of-life and Adobe will not support you for this product version so you'll be on your own. (see Adobe EOL Matrix)

This is not a supported setup. Replication code gets updated in every release and should not be used to replicate content from one version to another.

It might work but not at all Supported/Recommended by Adobe.

Please use packages to move the content in this case.
