is there any way, we can manage multiple assets in the ClassicUI like the way it is available in TouchUI ? Client doesn't want to use Bulk Editor/Importer.

No, you cant do that with Classic UI. This feature is existing/supported only in Touch UI.

i have told to the customer that it is not feasible but client wants to get it in any cost. Can we build this custom functionality for Classic UI ? code change and configuration changes ?

Best way here to contact Adobe Consulting.

Hi

I am not sure if we can do it from classic ui.

But one good reference article that would be good read for you:-

//Companion Tool – Desktop App for AEM DAM Assets

I hope this will help you.

Thanks and Regards

we are on 6.0, not sure if Desktop App is compatible with that. Is is possible to update the metadata for the multiple assets in same time using desktop app ? if yes, and if it is compatible with the version. I will give a try. please confirm.

You may want to check out the Asset Share template that's available out of the box... You could create an Asset Share page and set it up specifically for your site, utilizing available components that ship with AEM.

Adobe AEM 6.0 Asset Share Documentation

This would at least allow certain bulk editing functionality, specifically tagging and moving.
