How do I gain access to AEM?

Avatar

Level 2

I'm looking to learn AEM Sites and eventually get AEM certified. I'm looking to do this on my own, not through a company or for any side business. Is there a way for someone to gain access to a jar I can use locally to simply build and learn? I won't be using this for any client business or making a profit. I'm thinking of it as learning any other CMS.

If this is possible, please let me know. Thanks!

You can get it but only for some certain periods by dropping an access request to spphelp@adobe.com for the same.

@jsolano918  - As mentioned by @Umesh_Thakur  you can try following up on that email and also if you need any initial learning docs. helpx.adobe is the right place for that.

@kautuk_sahni  - Can you comment your views on the temporary AEM Jar from Adobe ?

Thanks,

Thank you. I did send an email and hopefully will hear back soon. It would be nice if there was some sort of local build that devs could get to learn the platform. No commercial rights, just whats needed to build a local site and see how it all works.

There is option to download AEM as Cloud service local setup for developer testing. For which, Adobe ID has be linked with your Adobe Experience Cloud solution accounts. Please get in touch with your Org Administrator or Adobe Enterprise Support. See https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/local-development-envi...
