Exporting site content in AEM 6.2.0

Avatar

Hello,

We would like to export text of our websites or the sites as a whole to have them translated by an external service provider. Is there a feature in AEM 6.2.0 to do this? We can't find anything for exporting/importing.

Best regards,

Oliver

When you want to translate content with a translation provider that is not integrated with an AEM connector, export the translations by clicking the Export button under the drop-down menu in the Translation Job tile from the Translation Project. There can be many Translation Jobs for the same Translation Project.

Export Translation objects in JSON format : AEM 6.4 and earlier versions support XML and XLIFF formats of translations objects. You can now configure the export format to JSON format using your systems console Config Manager. Look for Translation Platform Configuration, and then you can select the export format as JSON.

There is nothing to export just the text of pages.

But you can connect to the external translation provider [1], create a translation project and send the content for translation.

Hi Vishu, thank you for your answer. 1: If I understand correctly, there is no export feature for only the text of the websites? 2: Is there a feature to export the whole site as HTML/XML? 3: Is there any export/import feature in AEM besides the Translation Integration Framework?
