We have to migrate an AEM site from 5.6 to 6.2. We have a use case, where email notification is required for comments component. When a user posts a comment, an email will be sent to a reviewer.
This is currently implemented in the 5.6 site using a workflow. When a new comment is added in the JCR repository, the workflow is triggered. We are planning to use the ASRP storage option in the new site(AEM 6.2). Since UGC will be posted to the Adobe Social cloud instead of the JCR repository, how can we trigger the workflow when a new comment is posted?
Any pointers will be really helpful.

Hi Seetha,
The best option to achieve email notifications for activity in a Community is to use the Communities FP1 for 6.2 which is currently available as a buddy drop through your sales representative. Its due out in just a few weeks, and has a much more robust email templating approach than was in 5.x, support for notifications, subscriptions, and email replies, and has a configurable notifications UI for users. It will also be available as FP5 for AEM 6.1.

Don
