Adobe Experience Manager

I have created two components one is extending core/wcm/components/tabs/v1/tabs & another one is extending core/wcm/components/accordion/v1/accordion. And in these two components i have added a simple composite multifield containing two fields CTA  Label & CTA Link by myself. Now when i author these components on my master copy and roll out then changes gets rolled out on my live copy pages. But when i cancel the inheritance on live copy pages and do some custom modification in comp mutlifields for these two components and then rollout from master page then these changes are getting overridden even though i have cancelled the inheritance. And this problems happens only for composite multifield, no other fields are causing this issue. Do note this problem doesn’t occur for normal components with composite multifields which are not extending the OTB core component.Read few articles and found out its indeed an issue in OTB core container components.Any solution to this?

When we design adaptive forms with 3 or 4 columns, we noticed they tend to overlap when we switch to mobile renditions, i was under impression in the layout mode, i can arrange them, so they stack up one over the other but i noticed it stays the same after reverting to desktop rendition. Am i missing anything ? Eventually we will be delivering this form in headless but layout is something thats under AEM scope.

We are observing an issue in AEM Guides (Cloud Service) where the translation status does not revert after cancelling a translation job. As per Adobe documentation and earlier fixed issues, when a translation job is cancelled or deleted, the “In Progress” status should revert to the original state. However, in our environment, the status continues to remain “In Progress”. Observed Behavior: When sending a DITA topic/map for translation where the target language copy does not exist: A placeholder (empty) language copy is created. If the translation job is then cancelled: The placeholder file remains in the target language folder. The translation status of the asset still shows “In Progress”. The status does not revert even after some time or refresh. Expected Behavior: On cancellation of the translation job: Translation status should revert from “In Progress” to the original state. I’m trying to do a redirect based on the email domain that they submitted, basically want to redirect them to page A if their non-customer domains, page B if their customer domains. As i know currenly there is no native functionality to cross check the domain to marketo lists correct? Or is there an alternative for this

Hi Team,We are observing a very high volume of requests hitting AEM internal Granite APIs:/libs/granite/csrf/token.json (~618K requests, ~19%) /libs/granite/security/currentuser.json (~300K requests, ~9.3%)Together, these endpoints account for nearly 29% of total traffic in our logs.We understand these endpoints are used for authentication/session handling, but this volume seems unusually high and is impacting overall traffic patterns.We would like guidance on:Is this level of traffic expected for these endpoints in Adobe Experience Manager (especially Cloud Service)? What are the recommended best practices to reduce or optimize calls to these APIs?      Dispatcher/CDN rules? Frontend implementation improvements? Could this indicate a misconfiguration (e.g., frequent polling, missing caching, or bot traffic)? Are there Adobe-recommended patterns to minimize repeated CSRF token and current user calls? Any insights or similar experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I wanted to understand whether this is advisable for PII data to be stored within AEM, and what the recommended best practices are.Some of the questions we’re exploring:Is it recommended to store PII in AEMaaCS, even in encrypted form? How does Adobe protect sensitive data at rest and in transit within AEMaaCS? Are there any Adobe guidelines on handling PII in JCR repositories? How is it protected from any external attack threats? Can we implement custom encryption (e.g., using an OSGi service) before storing data? Are there recommended alternatives, such as storing the PII in a secured backend system instead of AEM?Would appreciate insights from Adobe experts and the community on the right architectural approach for handling PII securely in AEMaaCS.

Environment : AEM 6.5.21 , Issue do not see the persistent queries. endpoint can be seen on right side, but no persistent queries loaded, even though queries exist at crxde jcr node settings level for this specific project. This issue is on my local aem instance. configuration browser selected all the checkboxes, /content/site/jcr:content pointed to /conf/site where settings folder exist having all persistent queries  

ADOBE MAKES ASKING QUESTIONS TOO DARN HARD.I have been struggling for an hour to understand my problem and THAT IS RIDICULOUS. I made a virtual copy of an image in LR and then chose “edit a copy in PS with lightroom adjustments”. When I sent the image back to LRc, there was no copy made and the new image overwrote the .TIF file original. My original (with Google AI adjustments that cannot be replicated ‘cuz I’m out of usage tokens) is ** COMPLETELY GONE **. I am quite beyond irritated. Yes, I still have the pre-Google raw file, but I am very much not happy. What should I have done?

Hi,I have come across a problem, where the checkbox which is on Static tagged PDF, is not read correctly by screen readers such as voice over.It reads the title, but not if the checkbox is checked /unchecked. The static PDF which is tagged, as cross mark on the check box, but voice over is not able to recognize it and read it aloud. hence it reads only the title of the checkbox. Please note: The static pdf is rendered using outputservice.generatePDF API and is tagged. NVDA screen reader, is reading check box  unavailable  checked  read only, after the title is read aloud. But Voice over and acrobat pro read aloud is not able to recognize this.Anyone seen this issue before.?

We are using the WCM Core component PDF Viewer (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-core-components/using/wcm-components/pdf-viewer) on our site to improve the pdf experience of our customers but we are getting analytics cookies coming along for the ride:acrobatservices.adobe.comdc-api.adobe.iop.typekit.netp13n.adobe.iouse.typekit.netviewlicense.adobe.ioObviously we need to make sure if the users disables analytic cookies in our cookie consent manager that these cookies don’t get dropped.This isn’t a problem for js that we managed in Adobe Tags, we have rules to wire it up to the consent manager but im not sure how to go about wiring up these cookies from this core component.Any ideas?
