Brand Portal : How to avoid users can request Access

We just launched Brand Portal, and are having a process to have users onboarded via our HelpDesk

But users keep requesting access via brand portal, even though we disabled that option in Brand Portal setup

The "request access" link is hidden on the login screen, but if they try to sign up, creating adobe id etc, they end up in the Request access to Brand Portal screen.

Any way to prevent that ?

That seems to be a custom one. The better way would be creating a ticket with Adobe. Have you followed below to disable request access?

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-brand-portal/using/admin-tools/access-con...

Allow Users to Request Access

Administrators can allow the organization users to request access to Brand Portal from the welcome screen. However, administrators need to enable the Allow Users to Request Access configuration so that request access link appears on the welcome screen.

To allow organization users to request access on Brand Portal, administrators need to:

  1. Select the AEM logo to access administrative tools, from the toolbar at the top.
  2. From the administrative tools panel, select Access to open Access Settings page.
  3. Enable the Allow Users to Request Access configuration.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Logout to let the changes take effect.

THanks for switft reply. We did follow the documentation and disabled that people can request access. The link also disappear from the login page as described in the documentation. However if people e.g. click the sign in button, then create an Adobe ID account, they are actually ending up at the request access page anyway, even though it was disabled in config. It sounds like a good idea to create a ticket, it could be a bug/oversight in Brand Portal that Adobe needs to fix

Agree. It's better to create a support ticket and guess this is a bug.
