Asset Translation

if we disable the translation for asset binary data while configuring our translation service a single binary file will be there for asset metadata,tags translated into different languages and stored under language folder. how all this language copies of a asset get binary data from  a single binary file while stored in different folders? is there any property in metadata or jcr:content of asset?

Translation will work on properties under jcr:content and jcr:content/metadata. You can review and edit them within a translation project:

correct. translating asset will also translate binary file and that will lead to increase in repo size.so we don't translate binary file. then how single binary is referred by each language copy of asset even though all language copy of asset will be in different folders
