AEM Blog Author Profile page

Avatar

Level 3

I have an AEM site which has a page blog. Over there all the blogs we create in the author show on that page.

Recently I have been thinking about having an author profile page. So Readers can visit their profiles and learn about them.

Is there any way to make the profile page sync with the ADOBE IMS account or do I have to create them manually like we create pages?

Suggestions or Any Step can be recommended thanks.

@ashikg3 The user profile information still stored in the AEM after the user has logged in the system.

Few questions?

1. How do you store all the information related about the author in user profile node in AEM

2. How do you expose these user nodes in Publish instance to read the information and create a profile page?

3. How many authors are there?

4. Can't you create simple blog author AEM pages in the Author and use it as link in blog page to associate the blog authors?  - This is manageable if the blog authors are few and their profile updates are low.

So I done this:

1. I have made a normal page called a blog. Made a component that checks for template name articles and shows all the articles on the component in a grid design. and article pages are made with articles template.

2. I have passed the data on who create the page or edited the pages in jcr:createdBy

3. and Passed the name in a component to show the user name on the front end.

Now required to make an author profile like

xyz.com/blog/author/john-dev
