AEM 6.1 Active-Active in Authoring Environment using TarMK

Hi all,

Please refer to the URL on this subject : https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/deploy/recommended-deploys.html

My aim is to achieve Active-Active in Authoring Environment using TarMK.

In other words, we should always have a back up for Author, and also in case of a failure, it should switch over automatically.

TARMK COLD STANDBY:  The failover is not automatic. It has to be detected externally before the failover system can start serving requests.

TARMK FARM: This is the default deployment for publish environments.

Given these, how to set up Active Active Author, using TarMK?

If TarMK can not achieve this, should we resort to MongoMK?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Rama.
