Re: Which is the best solution for Animated GIF image Compression in AEM 6.3 Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,ImageMagick app is to have pre sized images (image renditions) and load them based on need. Adobe also provide scene 7 however that needs additional license and it works pretty much ImageMagick with some additional features. What problem do you see in loading & keeping multiple renditions?

Hi Samer,AEM does not provide any such endpoints. You need to have the custom endpoint for that and logic too for building the for the Ad server. Do you have user info stored in AEM itself?

Hi,Give us a translated version of HTML errors. I think this is something to do with Html5 encoding at the page level. By default AEM has ISO encoding.

Re: Can we use content fragments for menu items on header ? Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,The content fragment is not mean to be used everywhere. however yes you can use it in the logo as well. The content fragment is a peace of common content and provides a flexibility to avoid the same content in multiple places. The site Logo would be authored once but what if you have multiple brand sites and every site may have a different logo design. You end of creating multiple content fragment. In my view, A better way is to have a simple logo component which is changed based on the site c...

Re: Sightly Pagination Component using Sling Model and JavaScript Use API in AEM 6.1 Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Well,First thing, if ajax request does not have too many parameters then use selectors. Secondary make sure you have TTL & Max age, cache enable for these request. There are other settings as well at the akamai & Dispatcher level for caching ajax request. Talk to dev ops if you need help.Regards,Jitendra

Re: Sightly Pagination Component using Sling Model and JavaScript Use API in AEM 6.1 Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi Guys,Both approaches are okay however if you are not catching ajax request then go with build response with JSON data & Html templating..handlebar or Dust js. Having html in response is quite a heavy ajax response and mostly it is not preferred. but if you can cache ajax response then this could be useful. Another drawback is that if the response is cached then you need to find a way to keep refresh the same cache.I hope this helps.

Re: User Report Export Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,AEM does provide reporting on page access & user reports with very limited features. However, For your requirement, it seems you need to build a custom solution.Getting user information would not be hard for you but getting the permission of a particular user is very subjective. Any user can have many access at different levels in the AEM Repository. You need to define when you are generating a report for permissions.Find a role could be easy though.User Reporting referenceReporting

Re: how to CI/CD AEM with Bamboo Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hello,Bamboo or Jenkins or any CI/CD is never configured with AEM. All you need is just source code and Grade/Maven commands to build AEM Packages. And once you have packages you need to find out how to Maven/Grade profile to upload to AEM Environments. No CI/CD integration happens directly with AEM. CI/CD is for source code.I hope THis helps.

Re: Adapting a zip file Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hey,Uploading a file object and uploading package zip file is two different thing. You can transfer the data in binary format but can't upload FIle Object and be hoping that actual package would get uploaded to the destination. Fundamentally, you need to read the zip file from JCR Node as binary data and post the same binary data to another system.I hope this helps.

Re: AEM Data integration with Azure Storage Table Jitendra_S_Toma - Adobe Experience Manager
Hey Sunil,When there is no appropriate bundle exists to use in OSGi specific application. There are other ways to solve this issue.Create a web service (pure standalone java application) and post require details to web service rather handling at AEM site.Use maven embed dependencies concept to embed third-party jars into your bundle and make third-party classes to available at the runtime. You can google it or you can find info here too.Embedding third party jar into bundle I hope this helps.
