Gesture API not working as window.adobeDPSHTMLNative is missing on Android and possibly iOS

Hi,

we cannot use the gesture API or deploy the given example. Further investigation revealed that the window.adobeDPSHTMLNative is missing, which appears to be crucial for this to work. Any idea on this?

Kind Regards,

Jan

Hi,

The adobeDPSHTMLNative is a native object provided by the DPS2015 App. Are you loading the example in an App? If so, which device is it: iOS, Android, or Windows?

Yes, we uploaded the example in an android app. As it was not working, we started investigating and saw that the library 'dpsHTMLGestureAPI.min.js' requires an Object adobeDPSHTMLNative. This object was not available which seems to be the reason why pressing the Toggle Navigation UI button did only log a message. It worked neither on Android Phone nor on Android Tablet.

Are you using the latest version of the HTML Gesture API and example (found here)? If so, which version of Android are you testing it on (phone & tablet)?

Yes we have used the latest version. It's deployed on Android 4.4.4 (Tablet) and Android 5.0.2 (phone).
