DPS 2015 Install Problem

Avatar

Hi Everyone,

I've recently signed up for a free trial of DPS 2015 and I'm in the process of going through the how to videos. I'm at the stage where I need to install the HTML Article Packager. I've downloaded the install files and when I've double clicked to install, the icon appears bouncing in my dock like any program loading ( see pic 1 ) and then I get this prompt ( see pic 2 ) I click open but then the bouncing icon dissappears and nothing happens. I've dragged the programme directly into my applications folder and tried loading it from there but got the same problem. I can't think of any other way to install it. Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Nick,

Great that you are using the HTML Packager tool !

This will transform your html files in a .article format which you need in order to upload content  DPS 2015.

What you will need to do is just drag and drop and html file in the  HTML Packager  and that's it !  is that simple/

So, there aren't any problems .

More on this and how to create the .article with this tool, I recommend consulting the below article :

Thanks,
