Is there any out of the box workflow component to generate the Print Channel PDF of Interactive Communications?

I don't think there is an OOTB workflow for Print Channel PDF of Interactive Communications. Still, you can launch an agent UI interface[0] for creating ad-hoc correspondence or generate print channel documents in bulk using the watched folder mechanism[1]. Both these help docs have a sample attached.

Also, let me know if the set-up is a JEE-based installation.

You can render the letter as a PDF with the JEE workflows with the help of a custom DSC. Please raise a support ticket for this request.
