ADA Compliance for PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat Pro

Hello,

Is this the right community to post this question related to PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat Pro?

When trying to use the accessibility checker in Acrobat Pro for PDF forms, the options within the 'Prepare for accessibility' is greyed out. How can this be enabled to run the 'Check for accessibility' and to see its report? Please see the attached screenshot.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tripti_Singh,

Thanks for your response. I am using dynamic PDF developed by AEM Designer and its file properties shows the following:

In case this is not supported in Adobe Acrobat Pro, what is the alternative tool to use as Accessibility Checker for dynamic PDFs/XFA PDF?

Thanks,

LR

Hi @aemuser001,

You cannot generate the accessibility report for a dynamic document. If you want to use the accessibility feature within Acrobat, then please save the original XDP to save as a static PDF and you should be able to generate the accessibility report for the document using Acrobat.
This should resolved your issue.

Thanks

Hi Pranay,

Thanks for this response. The requirement is to make the dynamic PDF accessible. Converting it to static PDF to use Acrobat accessibility feature does not serve the purpose. I think the AEM Designer's Tool | macro | Accessibility checker can be used for dynamic PDFs.

Best,
