Shared File Datastore Garbage Collection Configuration

Avatar

Level 5

Situation: 1 Author, 3 Publish instances using a shared file datastore (binaryless replication).

What is the best way to run Data Store Garbage Collection?  Should it be run on all instances or really just Author since really, author will house all data?

Please refer to this link which explains how to do datastore garbage collection on shared datastore: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/deploying/deploying/data-store-config....

You would set 'markOnly' to 'true' on all the instances initially and run GC and then set it to 'false' on any one instance (sharing datastore) and run GC again.
