Publishing Folders and Content

Hi All,

I use CFs for a headless use case.

We have a folder structure and within the folders we have the CFs.

After experimenting with how to publish a folder of contents it appears we need 2 workflows:

1. To publish the empty folder (using the multivalue field in the workflow), selecting the folder and starting the workflow
2. To publish the contents of the folder, (NOT using the multivalue field in the workflow), selecting the folder and starting the workflow

I feel I must be doing something wrong, can you please advise if I can get folders publishing  with their content in one workflow?

As an advanced feature, It would be great after the folder and initial content is there that if the workflow is applied on the folder it does a diff and only takes the changes over. Appreciate that is a bit advanced and I can go in and select the individual items.

Hello @AEM_PARTY 

1. Can you please try using "Publish Content Tree" workflow?

That should publish all assets along with the folder

2. Also please try "Manage publication". Include all children.

To publish only the modified ones, the option today is:

- Filter the assets from the AEM assets search.

- Publish assets after selecting them
